This twenty six year old actor was one of the undeniably promising actors in Korea today. Jang Keun Suk is now in the peak of his career as an actor, singer and model. Jang Keun Suk was born on September 26, 1987 in Danyang County, Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea.
He was discovered to be a child model unexpectedly at the age of six. At that time, Keun-Suk’s parents were selling their house and the buyer happens to be also a talent agent. Seeing Keun Suk potential, the agent advised Keun-Suk’s parents to allow him to try a career in modeling.

After then Keun Suk first bloomed in his acting debut in 1997 sitcom Selling Happiness (Haengbokdo Pabnida). he took notice of the music of Japanese pop singer Ken Hirai when he in middle school. He was inspired and influenced by these bands by then he start learning Japanese by himself. In 2003, at some point in his junior high school, he attended at Nelson College in New Zealand to learn English and Japanese. Although Keun Suk wants to pursue his studies in New Zealand, a job offer and a big opportunity made him brought back to South Korea, a role in the popular MBC sitcom Nonstop 4.
In 2005, his portrayal of the president’s son became a hit and was well regarded by drama fans in the SBS drama Lovers in Prague.
In 2006, Keun-Suk made his first leap to the big screen in the Japanese horror film One Missed Call: Final where he played the role of a deaf boy. Keun-Suk was clever to communicate with his Japanese co-stars effortlessly because of his skills in speaking Japanese. He also learned and practiced sign language for his role.

In 2007, his portrayal of Hyeon-ju proves his skills as a singer in the rock music-themed film The Happy Life. In 2008, Keun-Suk act in two more music-inspired titles with the feature film Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do and the hit TV drama Beethoven Virus.
Keun-Suk also appeared in the photoshoot “Kolon Christmas Photo Shoot” in 2008.
In the 2009 thriller movie The Case of Itaewon Homicide- True story film, he acts his first villain character. Keun Suk caught the Film critics and moviegoers about his character.
Keun-Suk played the role of Hwang Tae-Kyung, the strict guy leader of pop band A.N.Jell, but on the later part he falls in love with his fellow band mate who is a female pretending to be a guy on behalf of her twin brother, played by Park Shin Hye. In drama series You’re Beautiful,
Keun Suk granted for the role portrayal of the pet character in the Korean movie version of the Japanese drama Kimi wa Petto, based on manga. You’re My Pet was aired in November 2011.
